Nichols has been providing consulting services to the Upstream Oil and Gas industry since our inception in 1997. Our work in this sector includes pre and post disturbance assessments, environmental field reports, site specific liability assessments, drilling waste management, injection and disposal well requirements, oilfield waste management requirements, spill response, site assessment, site remediation and reclamation.

We have completed work on a variety of sites including flare pits, battery/lease sites, gas plants, haul roads, pipelines and compressor stations.

Nichols has a comprehensive working knowledge of Alberta Environment's 2010 Reclamation Criteria for Wellsites and Associated Facilities, and is also well versed in navigating the various environmental management directives required by the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER).

Our spill response team is on-call 24/7 to respond to environmental incidents as required to mitigate potential liability as safely and efficiently as possible.

Nichols is a member with full compliance to the standards outlined by ISNetworld, PICS and Comply Works.
